Tasks to accomplish:

1.  Complete recommended changes for the Selection of Library and Audiovisual Materials Policy.

2.  Complete recommended changes for the Objection to Instructional Materials Policy

3.  Complete recommended changes to the form for Requesting Reconsideration of Materal

4.  Develop a "weeding" proceedure for library and audiovisual materials

• December 13th  Full Day release to work on above
  • 1/2 day in AM Library Media Specialists
  • Working lunch in Primary Library to discuss budget
  • 1/2 day in PM with Kim Bojara to help finalize
• Mid December thru mid January share with leadership team and make sure recommendations are legally viable.  Kim will help us review this, as well as solicit names for prospective committee members.
• Mid January New Policies to the BOE
• February- Pending approval, convene the Objection to Instructional Materials Committee (membership to be determined)
