Equipment Purchase Questions

1.  Does unblocking one website open up our network to all websites sharing the same domain name?  (e.g. if we unblock educator.wordpress.com, does that mean we've unblocked ALL wordpress.com sites?

2. What's the future of FrontPage?  Substitute Dreamweaver?  or something else?

3. Keeping track of ink cartridges:  whose responsibility?  Is the PS the only place the library does this?

4. Can we have "Libraries" as a drop-down choice under schools?  Nobody knows you can click on "schools."

5.  Is there the possibility of having a temporary override for BESS, so we can access valuable sites that are blocked?  (Flickr's Creative Commons pool, for example.) 

6.  Does submitting a "request for review" actually do any good?  We seem to just get a form letter in response, reiterating the reason the site is blocked.

Websites that BESS hates:

-- http://www.memfox.com/welcome.html  We can access the top page, but about half of the linking pages are blocked.  (Website of famous children's author.)
