Uploading your podcast to FrontPage & SCT Toolbox Pages

FrontPage:

1. Open FrontPage, and go to the page where you will put a podcast link. 

    

2. From the "File" menu, click on "Import".
3. A dialog box will open up.  Click on "Add File."  Browse through your files and locate the podcast file.
4. Click on it, then click "Open."
5. Click "OK".  The file will load.  The bigger the file, the longer it takes to load.
6. Add words or text (like "Click here for our podcast!"), and make a hyperlink to your file.  
7. After you close FrontPage, make sure you test your link.

SCT Toolbox:

1. Open your Toolbox website.
2. Open the Webfolder Manager.
3. It would be a good idea to create a sub-folder for your podcasts.  You can do that by clicking "Add a Sub-folder" on the right-hand side of the page. 

    

4. Then click "Upload a File to this Folder."  (This button will appear only after you have clicked a folder choice.)

    

5. Click "Browse" and locate your podcast file.  Click "upload this file."

    

    

6. Click "Go to the Toolbox Home".
7. Click on "Basic Website Tools."  Open the page where you will put a podcast link. 

    

8. Add words or text (like "Click here for our podcast!"), and make a hyperlink to your file.  You can do this by selecting the words or picture that will become the link, and then clicking "Link" in the toolbox. Remember that the dialog box in which you will enter the link information appears at the bottom of the page.  You might have to scroll down to see it. 

    

9. Click on the little blue file symbol.  A dialog box will open up.  Click on the podcast file and click "OK."  Save your edits.
10. After you close Toolbox, make sure you test your link.
